The lovely artist and dear friend Amalia surprised me with a gift - The Stylish blogger Award. It was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise! What I can do is to thank her from all my heart and to try to deserve it in future, too... Please, visit her blog, if you still have not!!

So let's begin...

First I must share seven things about myself, that you don't know up so far...

1. My favourite colour for clothes is green.

2. I like to drink coffee. I change the cups,  according to my mood. 
3. I want to learn Danish and try to read Andersen in original.

4. I like to sing since childhood. I'm very exigent about the music in my puppet performances, as   it gives them "colour and scent". I adore the music rehearsals!

5. I was a rehearsal-pianist of the choir, while studying at high school.

6. I  go to bed after midnight... I'm an "owl".

7. I can't drive.

Вчера приключи ХІІ-ят международен куклен фестивал "Интерлялка", който се проведе в Ужгород, Украйна.

Yesterday finished the XIIth International Puppet Festival "Interlyalka", that took place in Uzhgorod, Ukraine.

Преди броени часове разбрахме, че спектакълът "Рапунцел" е получил наградата за сценография и кукли (моят любим сценограф - Свила Величкова)!

"Rapunzel" received the Award for "The best puppet design and The best scenery" (my favourite scenographer - Svila Velichkova)!

Малък сладък подарък за мен от Ужгород. Донесен рано-рано тази сутрин.

На връщане от Украйна през Русе, Куклен театър-Сливен гастролира на куклената ни сцена. Безкрайно изморени, недоспали, но доволни и раздаващи се - такива са актьорите и техническите служби. ОГРОМНО БЛАГОДАРЯ!!

This morning "Rapunzel" had a guest-performance in our town on their way back home from Ukraine (Rousse is our north boundary with Roumania.). I'm so happy because my son, husband and brother could watch it! Exhausted from the long travelling, having slept just 3-4 hours, the actors and the technical staff performed as if it was the premiere! THANK YOU!!

ХУБАВА НОВИНА / A GOOD NEWS

Ура-ура-ура! "Рапунцел" се завърна с награди от фестивал!

Hurray-hurray! "Rapunzel" has been awarded!

След наградата за "най-добро детско представление" на Зимния фестивал на изкуствата "Сцена, палитра, слово"  в Пловдив, спектакълът участва в два международни куклени фестивала през май. "Златна искра" се проведе в Крагуевац, Сърбия, а "Лут фест" - в Източно Сараево, Република Сръбска - Босна и Херцеговина.

After having been awarded for "the best theatre performance for children" at the Winter Festival of Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, "Rapunzel" took part in two international puppet festivals in May.  "Zlatna iskra" was held in Kragujevac, Serbia and " Lut Fest" - in East Sarajevo, Republic of Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina.

На "Лут фест" "Рапунцел" получи следните награди: на журито -  за "най-куклено представление" и на детското жури - за "най-добър спектакъл".

At "Lut fest" "Rapunzel" received the Jury's Award - for "the most PUPPET puppet show" and the Children's Jury Award - for " the best performance".

Нескромно ли е да кажа, че съм щастлива? И благодарна на създателите (сценограф - Свила Величкова и композитор Пламен Мирчев-Мирона) и участниците в спектакъла за любовта им към материала и безрезервното им доверие към мен!

I'm so thankful to the scenographer  - the very talented Svila Velichkova, to the composer Plamen Mirchev-Mirona (if only you could listen to his songs!), to the actors and the technical staff, without whose love towards the play and me, there wouldn't have been such a successful result! I'm feeling really happy!

    A translator of children's books  from Scandinavian languages.

2. What is the one word that describes you best?

     Positivism.

3. Who is your favorite book character?

     Winnie-the-Pooh, Moominmamma, Fillyjonk.

4. If you could have a super natural power, what would it be?

    To heal people.

5. Which is worse, a bad haircut or a black eye?

    A black eye, because it hurts!

1. На село при леля, в старата й къща с таван, пълен с истински съкровища, в двора с чимшира, дюлята за катерене, френското грозде, кладенеца, люлката... Ех!
