БЕЗ ДУМИ / WITHOUT WORDS

Разрисувах това камъче за наша много скъпа приятелка. Преди да го изпратя, то ме вдъхнови за малка фотосесия...

I drew this face on a pebble for a dear friend of ours. Just before sending, it "asked me" for a short photo-session...:))))

Беше моментно вдъхновение, затова светлината и фонът са такива, каквито бяха, докато приготвях колетчето...

The background and the light are not suitable, but the inspiration "caught" me, while preparing the package for the post-office...

  1. Sometimes the simplest of materials give the most profound and beautiful of images. That is lovely and the shades of meaning in each pose speaks volumes.

  16. Thanks a lot! I'm thinking about that... I have already some stories of the kind in photos (I've posted 2 or 3 of them here), but I must take a stand(??) for my camera, so that I could make precise movements...:)

  17. Oh she's so graceful! The combination of light and shadow, and the earnest dancer is so beautiful! Thank you Rossichka! Like Amelia I loved "reading" her story...I'm sure your friend will love her!

Do you know who she reminds me of? Here's a picture of her, almost like your last photo: http://www.artnet.com/ag/fineartdetail.asp?wid=425388733&gid=119555 (Martha Graham was one of the pioneers of modern dance)

  19. Heya Hya Rosicheeka... you know that could mean red cheeks I guess, ahh you know, two days ago I walked along the beach near our house and saw a rock with a hole in it, just like those at the red sae, and I thought ahh Rossicheeka! and I p icked it up and it broke... I think it was just hanging together waiting for me to walk past , it was about 160 milliaon years old I thinkl, because it was from bwteen the layer Permian and layer Triassic that it was borne before it fell upon the sand.

Thank you so much for visiting me a few weeks ago.... I have been working far too hard getting a book together with a nice lady in Manhatten, so I am very very quite.... don't tell anyone I was here okay? Hugs from oz :) :) I hope you are well and Hans Christian Andersen is still jumming in your paper cutouts

  21. Hello, Andrew! It's 7 o'clock in the morning and it's too early for me to get up, but I had a reason today. I was just thinking what to do now, made a cup of coffee (although my eyes are closing), switched on the laptop and saw your comments. So... that's the second reason to stay awake!:)))
Last year I was talking about rocks with such holes like the lady's head above. This summer my husband and son brought lots of such pebbles from a special place at the seaside and we made pendants for friends or drew upon them with children. I was always thinking of you!!
I wish you good luck with the book (in which I don't doubt)!!
And if you have some free minutes, read my posts about my short stay in Portugal(I've been practising my guiding skills, having been encouraged by you!)... You'll see...:0)

  22. HCAndersen might be mad at me, because I forgot about papercutting - my favourite, special scissors mysteriously disappeared and it's not the same without them..:( But it's high time to "get in hands"!
The story of that old piece of rock, born "before falling on the sand" upset me a lttle... But it had obviously waited for you! And now only you and me know its story.
And all the future readers of this post, of course...:0) Bye!!!!

  25. Wow! She is really dancing! That's imagination: just a pebble and a piece of paper (?) and there she is: a fragile figure with a beautiful tragic face dancing like a butterfly. I love her.

  35. Hello Friend!!!! this week I was a little busy, early spring, tourists come to the valley, we have small suites to rent, and that takes time, apart from my work as a cartoonist for magazines of the country's capital (Buenos Aires) but always I reserve a minute to do some drawing on my blog. I came to thank you for your comment, oh! I regret that my drawing interpretation has not been easy for you. but, well, no problem :)))

Rossichka, I loved these pictures with the stone and the scarf, you are very creative, congratulations. I watched the first and liked it, then look at the second and liked it, and so to the last:)))))
Do not want to do more, and photograph, for our pleasure, say yes :)))))))))))))

Hi Rossichka Thank you for visiting me I hope I'm coming out of the rut I've been in !!!-maybe now with the long nights I'll get more done.I just love the way you painted the pebble -a little story book character and the colours are lovely. Are you going to do a series of them ?-I think they would be brilliant,You did a great job on your piece of pottery.I never tried it -maybe like you I might some day.I'll leave you now and I hope it won't be so long until I visit again.Mary P.

    ОтговорИзтриване
  44. Dear Mary Patricia, thank you for the nice words! Yes, I think to make another dancer. Actually I'm looking for her "dress". I'll try to take the shots from one point (not changing the height or the position of the camera). I just need some time and... inspiration! If you get the chance, try to make some pottery - I'm sure you'll like it!
It'll be great to keep in touch again!
