I drew this face on a pebble for a dear friend of ours. Just before sending, it "asked me" for a short photo-session...:))))
Беше моментно вдъхновение, затова светлината и фонът са такива, каквито бяха, докато приготвях колетчето...
The background and the light are not suitable, but the inspiration "caught" me, while preparing the package for the post-office...
Sometimes the simplest of materials give the most profound and beautiful of images. That is lovely and the shades of meaning in each pose speaks volumes.
ОтговорИзтриванеThank you!!!:) In fact these are the "real" photos, wearing the mood of the moment!
ОтговорИзтриванеMade me smile - you can make wonderful puppets from anything, my talented puppeteer friend!
ОтговорИзтриванеHa, nicely done.
ОтговорИзтриванеLove it.
Thank you, Gretel! I want to try to shot a shoooort amateur movie with papercuts...:0)
ОтговорИзтриванеThanks for encouraging me, Rick! Maybe I'll make a new "photo-session" with another pebble-woman...
ОтговорИзтриванеYour little multi-colored dancer has given a beautiful performance.
ОтговорИзтриванеBravo...please take a bow!
My dancer bows to your applauses, Frances!:)Thank you!!
ОтговорИзтриванеBy the way, this is the most emotional and sweet moment at the end of a performance - I adore it!:D
Много красиво си го изрисувала, Роси!!!!!!
ОтговорИзтриванеМерси! Видях обицата и така започна всичко...
ОтговорИзтриванеАма и вие сте "изрисували" чудни чушкови натюрморти!:0)))

Nice job!
Thank you so much! I blushed...:) This was a pebble with a hole from our Black Sea coast...
ОтговорИзтриванеI've just finished your gift. I'll send it tomorrow!!!
It's a beautiful pebble and you gave it life :)
ИзтриванеThnak you! Can't wait!!
:)))
ИзтриванеHello! I'm busy this afternoon, so I'll send you the package tomorrow!!! I hope it will reach you safe and sound.:)
What a sweet character! It feels like I'm watching an animated short story... :)
ОтговорИзтриванеThanks a lot! I'm thinking about that... I have already some stories of the kind in photos (I've posted 2 or 3 of them here), but I must take a stand(??) for my camera, so that I could make precise movements...:)
ОтговорИзтриванеOh she's so graceful! The combination of light and shadow, and the earnest dancer is so beautiful! Thank you Rossichka! Like Amelia I loved "reading" her story...I'm sure your friend will love her!
ОтговорИзтриванеDo you know who she reminds me of? Here's a picture of her, almost like your last photo: http://www.artnet.com/ag/fineartdetail.asp?wid=425388733&gid=119555 (Martha Graham was one of the pioneers of modern dance)
Dear Kristien, I'm so glad to see you here! I thought you've stopped blogging. Thank you for this incredibly sweet comment! How could I suggest that my dancer will provoke you in such a way?!! Martha Graham gracious movements? Oh!....:)))))))))
ОтговорИзтриванеMy friend whom I gave this head is Denichka - she commented above. She's a very talented young woman - here's her blog:http://www.denodada.blogspot.com/
I hope you are doing well with your studies and keep creating glass jewellery!:)
Heya Hya Rosicheeka... you know that could mean red cheeks I guess, ahh you know, two days ago I walked along the beach near our house and saw a rock with a hole in it, just like those at the red sae, and I thought ahh Rossicheeka! and I p icked it up and it broke... I think it was just hanging together waiting for me to walk past , it was about 160 milliaon years old I thinkl, because it was from bwteen the layer Permian and layer Triassic that it was borne before it fell upon the sand.
ОтговорИзтриванеThank you so much for visiting me a few weeks ago.... I have been working far too hard getting a book together with a nice lady in Manhatten, so I am very very quite.... don't tell anyone I was here okay? Hugs from oz :) :) I hope you are well and Hans Christian Andersen is still jumming in your paper cutouts
err nake that Humming in your paper cutouts!!!
ОтговорИзтриванеHumming like resonance !!
:)
Hello, Andrew! It's 7 o'clock in the morning and it's too early for me to get up, but I had a reason today. I was just thinking what to do now, made a cup of coffee (although my eyes are closing), switched on the laptop and saw your comments. So... that's the second reason to stay awake!:)))
ОтговорИзтриванеLast year I was talking about rocks with such holes like the lady's head above. This summer my husband and son brought lots of such pebbles from a special place at the seaside and we made pendants for friends or drew upon them with children. I was always thinking of you!!
I wish you good luck with the book (in which I don't doubt)!!
And if you have some free minutes, read my posts about my short stay in Portugal(I've been practising my guiding skills, having been encouraged by you!)... You'll see...:0)
HCAndersen might be mad at me, because I forgot about papercutting - my favourite, special scissors mysteriously disappeared and it's not the same without them..:( But it's high time to "get in hands"!
ОтговорИзтриванеThe story of that old piece of rock, born "before falling on the sand" upset me a lttle... But it had obviously waited for you! And now only you and me know its story.
And all the future readers of this post, of course...:0) Bye!!!!
Such fun gestures with your 'puppet'! He has a very expressive personality, what a shame to take his head off to post. ;)
ОтговорИзтриванеJess x x
This lady can breathe and move at my friend's house, too! She needs only a paper serviette for a dress or a blanket!:)
ОтговорИзтриванеWow! She is really dancing! That's imagination: just a pebble and a piece of paper (?) and there she is: a fragile figure with a beautiful tragic face dancing like a butterfly. I love her.
ОтговорИзтриванеThank you, Hedwig!! Yes, this is a paper serviette.
ОтговорИзтриванеI love her, too, but I'm glad she's living with our friend - fragile like her and very talented -
http://denodada.blogspot.com/
Thanks for visiting me!:)
Thank you for showing me her blog. It's wonderful!
ОтговорИзтриванеThere are calendars with some of her art pieces, published in her blog - for 2011 and 2012. We have them both at home and love them! I hope she'll make a third one! You can see a link on the right side. Bye!!
ОтговорИзтриванеOh, only the book is there - I didn't know! But it's too late to order a calendar, isn't it? Sorry!
ОтговорИзтриванеOh, this is very nice, bravo!
ОтговорИзтриванеMerci beaucoup! C'était très amusant!:)))

ОтговорИзтриванеThese pictures quite take my breath away. They are so utterly divine. Have you thought of making short movies in this way. I could hear this beautiful lady dancing to music. Thank you so much, your talent is incredible :D
ОтговорИзтриванеThank you for your kind and supportive words on my blog too. You are such a kind friend and I'm glad to know you.x
Your words mean so much to me, now I'll dream the most beautiful dreams.:) Thank you! I'm glad to know you, too, Kimberley! As far as I remember we started our blogs nearly at the same time... So, "we've been together" for pretty long, haven't we?:))))
ОтговорИзтриванеYes, I would love to make a shoooooort animated movie. My son brought a stand for the camera and I could try now... I've posted several papercuts "in movement" in my blog... Like this one -

Have a fantastic week and happy new school year to your children! In Bulgaria it starts tomorrow.
how cute!
ОтговорИзтриванеHello Friend!!!! this week I was a little busy, early spring, tourists come to the valley, we have small suites to rent, and that takes time, apart from my work as a cartoonist for magazines of the country's capital (Buenos Aires) but always I reserve a minute to do some drawing on my blog. I came to thank you for your comment, oh! I regret that my drawing interpretation has not been easy for you. but, well, no problem :)))
ОтговорИзтриванеRossichka, I loved these pictures with the stone and the scarf, you are very creative, congratulations. I watched the first and liked it, then look at the second and liked it, and so to the last:)))))
Do not want to do more, and photograph, for our pleasure, say yes :)))))))))))))
OK good weekend for all your family!!!!!! and Happy Fall!
Happy Spring to you, Roberto! I hope the tourists will be contented with their stay at your place!
ОтговорИзтриванеI'm so pleased to know that you like my Lady! I waited for your reaction, thank you! By the way, this is not a scarf, but a paper serviette and it was the source of my sudden inspiration.:)))

ОтговорИзтриванеEх, смути ме, но искрено ти благодаря!:)
ОтговорИзтриванеHi Rossichka Thank you for visiting me I hope I'm coming out of the rut I've been in !!!-maybe now with the long nights I'll get more done.I just love the way you painted the pebble -a little story book character and the colours are lovely. Are you going to do a series of them ?-I think they would be brilliant,You did a great job on your piece of pottery.I never tried it -maybe like you I might some day.I'll leave you now and I hope it won't be so long until I visit again.Mary P.
ОтговорИзтриванеDear Mary Patricia, thank you for the nice words! Yes, I think to make another dancer. Actually I'm looking for her "dress". I'll try to take the shots from one point (not changing the height or the position of the camera). I just need some time and... inspiration! If you get the chance, try to make some pottery - I'm sure you'll like it!
ОтговорИзтриванеIt'll be great to keep in touch again!
Bye!:)
so tender :D
ОтговорИзтриванеI just saw your comment waiting for approval.:) I had forgotten about this dancer! I'm gathering to draw upon sea pebbles again this summer. Hope they'll inspire me... Have a wonderful August!
