"Небето като от коприна..." - това е то!
The sky looks silky!...
Много скоро тези премалели от студ и вятър листа ще потънат в зеленината...
Снегът ще се стопи и деца ще се разлудуват наоколо...
Дори водата в реката ще "посинее"...
Even the water will become blue...
Река Дунав
The river Danube
Поглед от кея... - прах, застиналост, очакване някакво...
Идвай, Пролет!!!
Come, Spring, come!!!

ОтговорИзтриванеSigh. my keyboard keeps jumping. I lost my first comment. Rossichka, I have not been here for a while, although I have to admit I have been cheating. I read your posts through my reader. The photos of spring look calm and peaceful. Is that a floating dock? It looks small until I examined it thoroughly. Oh my goodness, it is like an island mall! Hope you are well
ОтговорИзтриванеWelcome, Ces! I appreciate your visit, having in mind the hard moment in your life... Thank you!! The spring hasn't begun yet, there's still snow here and there... Neither snowdrops, nor crocuses have appeared... But I am waiting for them impatiently, thursty for green!
ОтговорИзтриванеThe river Danube is the second largest in Europe - you can read more here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube
The photo shows a small ship that is docked, yes. The Danube Bridge, that is built in my town Rousse, connects Bulgaria and Roumania...
I'll visit you soon, I promise!:) Take care!x
Thanks for your visit Rossichka, I have been visiting you often, but a few months ago, Blogger didnt allow me to leave comments, so I did "not talking visits", now Im back to comments, its always great to read my blog and find your wonderful comments, its also great to come here and read your post, always nice and full of good energy and thoughts, yes many of us are waiting for a new spring, I want to see again the garden green and many flowers in it.
ОтговорИзтриванеI have been busy at work, moving to Canada hasn´t been easy in some ways, and great in many, but now I´m catching up, now I know where to find and get more suplies for my watercolors, and my spirit feels better, hope to be able to be painting more often, and I promise to leave you more often comments.
I send you a big hug from this cold beautiful land, and wishing also for Spring... soon, I already saw some geese flying back here. This must mean Spring is around the corner.
Ale.
your images are lovely! I always find it so interesting to see pics from halfway around the world. I wish I could say the same for our winter, it has been so strange. barely there. a little bit of snow here and a little bit there. hardly cold but too cold for anything to grow. and it seems to be lingering... i wonder if spring will come to us soon as well?
ОтговорИзтриванеwhat is the sculpture Rossichka -its beautiful. We have daffodils so far but not much else -it's still bleak and dreary but at least we have a bit more daylight
ОтговорИзтриванеDear Ale, I'm so glad we'll keep in touch again! It's nice that you got used to your new life - it needs time, 'cause I suppose moving to another country is quite a change!
ОтговорИзтриванеTill the end of this month Spring should come everywhere where she is expected, so I believe you'll enjoy your garden pretty soon!
Thanks for your warm words! It's always a pleasure to visit your blog and look at your watercolours!:)xx
Oh, Michele, don't lose hope, for Spring will definitely come! Today it snowed again just for a while and became cold - I can't stand it any more... The photos are dusty and "grey", but I intnd to take pictures of the same places in a green, sunny day!
ОтговорИзтриванеSee you!:)
The sculpture is in the alleys down by the river. People go there for a walk and children play around... We don't have flowers yet (only in pots), even the birds haven't begun to sing - only sparrows, pigeons, crows and magpies hop and fly round about.
ОтговорИзтриванеI hope you are feeling better, Patricia! Hugs!
Rossichka!!!
ОтговорИзтриванеI hope you have a fantastic and very happy International Women's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shows a very sensitive person. Answering your comment over at my blog: That post was a tribute to the woman who designed and catalogued the unknown flowers the flowers Amazonica. She was an Englishwoman who came to Brazil with 43 years and died aged 79 years. He painted over 400 boards in watercolor and graphite, and showed to the world a lot of unknown flowers. There are some books with his drawings published by world. If you search on the internet will be amazed by your work. My collages was only a way to show my admiration for her. I like you Rossinchka
ОтговорИзтриванеOh, Maria, thank you for telling me this. I'll definitely look in Internet for more information about that remarkable lady! But now your collages received another "scent"!:) Last year I've learned by another blog-friend about a woman who recreated the flowers she saw using paper cutting. I'll check her old posts and when I find the name, I'll send it to you!
ОтговорИзтриванеYour good and warm words flatter me, thank you!:)x

ОтговорИзтриванеIt's not quite different here, Tammie... The cold came back! Just imagine that in the beginning of last March there were trees and bushes in bloom and we tied our martenitzi to their branches... Nevermind, this year we will wear them longer and this is something that I like and enjoy!
ОтговорИзтриванеP.S. I wrote a post about our custom of Baba Marta this year, too... :)Have you read it?
