I have always dreamt of walking along the beach not bare-footed, but in shoes, not hiding from the hot sun rays, but wearing cosy clothes, breathing deeply and feeling new scents. We made with my husband a four-day journey at our seaside, stayed in our favourite place there, unexpectedly met dear friends and travelled round-about the region. No deadlines, no hurrying, no planning...

Yes, people travelled, but the beaches and the seashore were nearly empty (we had a national holiday in Bulgaria), the small villages - sea resorts were just awakening before the big summer "tourist invasion". And it was quiet and silent - just what we needed!:)

We had luck with the weather, because in the country it was rainy and cloudy as a whole! (On our way back we had a terrifying hail experience...) These yellow fields are amazing, yes!! What about the empty beaches (there were few people here and there), it's just because the tourist season has not started yet. And that was the point of our trip!:) The "Stonehenge" composition is my husband's. He took some really nice pics of it.

The sea water is clear as a lake! I can not believe it. the Atlantic, here in my country is a sea with earth color, at least on the coast. some of the photos shown here resemble abstract paintings,

a picture when Veleka river embraces the sea. There is a heart in there, you saw it!
another picture. yours and your husband's feet. It is a beautiful picture.
and finally. your photo sitting on the bench facing the sea. you look lonely there, it's a little sad, but it is a beautiful photograph!

Hello, Roberto! I'm not sure whether the photos are not too much, that's why we made the collages. But later on I posted more "real-sized" ones specially for a blog-friend of ours, who loves those places and had provoked our curiosity to experience the sea in spring.

As far as I've seen the Black Sea - it is always that blue and pure, of course, when it's calm and in Spring and Summer. Can you believe - I hadn't noticed the heart!! I'm not even sure what you have in mind, because in two of the photos I can see now two hearts. Thank you for being so artistically observant!:)xx

To say "good bye"? Actually, yes! The last day, just before leaving the beach, I decided to finally touch the water. So I stepped on the sea shore, at enough distance from the waves that I had watched and shot while being there... And in that very instant a broken wave as if sneaked to my legs and wet my shoes!! So... who said "good bye"?:DDD
Yes, Hedwig, is right. What happens is that, is a sensation that feels who is watching the scene, one person, sitting on a bench, looking at the vast sea, does not have to be sad, necessarily. probably, at that time, that person has more connection to the world that the person who is traveling on a subway, at rush hour, pressed like a sardine in a can.

Wonderful photos that show a joyful season that cheers up! Beautiful places I would like to visit so much! The sea remembers me that tomorrow, together with my kids, we'll go on the coast with a troupe who will perform a roadshow in which they will tell the story of pirates and their raids.

I just wanted to keep in the photos the beauties we saw - it was such a special experience for us to be on the beach in May!:) Words fail me to describe how wonderful it was!! Fresh and green... In that region during late summer everything is yellow-brownish and only the mountain at the other side of the Black sea is green...

ИзтриванеSo many precious moments! I've enjoyed comparing your seaside with ours. Both very beautiful parts of the world.We also had days when the sun and rain were arguing but the sun usually won. It's Autumn here so it was never too hot.
